What inspired your passion for your profession?
Ever since I can remember, I have been fascinated by the intricacies of the human body and the scientific principles that govern its functions. As I grew up, I also discovered that I am naturally drawn to connecting with others and helping them in meaningful ways. These two passions have ultimately led me to pursue a career in the medical field. I believe that the intersection of medical science and human interaction is a uniquely fulfilling space where I can use my skills to make a positive impact on people's lives.

What about dentistry makes you happy?
What I find most rewarding about dentistry is the combination of technical skill, problem-solving, and personal interaction that it entails. As an engineer, I appreciate the precision and attention to detail required to diagnose and treat dental conditions effectively. As a healer, I am passionate about helping people achieve and maintain good oral health, which is crucial to their overall wellbeing. And as a people person, I love building relationships with my patients and working collaboratively with them to achieve their goals. To me, dentistry represents the perfect blend of science, art, and human connection.
If you had kids, would you want them to be dentists?
Throughout my career, dentistry has brought me immense joy and fulfillment. As I reflect on all that this profession has given me, I feel a deep sense of gratitude and a desire to pay it forward. One way I hope to do so is by passing on the values and skills that I have learned to my children, when I have them. It would be an honor and a privilege to share with them the rewards of helping others achieve healthy and beautiful smiles, and to inspire them to carry on the legacy of excellence in dental care.
What was your education like?
My academic journey has been diverse and multifaceted, reflecting my curiosity and passion for various fields of study. As an undergraduate, I pursued a degree in chemical and biomedical engineering, which gave me a solid foundation in the sciences and a keen appreciation for their practical applications. Later, I deepened my understanding of the physical world by pursuing a master's degree in physics, which challenged me to think critically and analytically about complex phenomena. Finally, I followed my lifelong interest in dentistry by attending dental school, where I was able to combine my technical skills with my desire to help others and make a positive impact on their lives. While my path may seem unconventional, I believe that each step has contributed to my growth as a person and a professional, and has prepared me well for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
What can a new patient expect on day one?
When a new patient comes to our practice, we strive to make them feel comfortable and heard right from the start. We begin with a thorough conversation about their healthcare needs and concerns, taking the time to listen carefully and ask questions to gain a deeper understanding of their unique situation. Once we have established a good rapport and a clear picture of their dental history and goals, we proceed with a comprehensive exam that leverages the latest in technology and diagnostic tools. Our aim is to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information about their oral health, as well as to identify any potential issues or risks that may require attention. By combining personalized care with cutting-edge technology, we strive to offer our patients the highest quality dental care possible.
Why are you passionate about dentistry?
What draws me to dentistry is the profound impact it can have on people's lives. For some, dental care can be life-changing, helping them overcome painful or debilitating conditions, restore their confidence, and improve their overall health and wellbeing. For others, it is a crucial part of maintaining their quality of life, enabling them to eat, speak, and smile with ease and comfort. Whether I am performing a routine cleaning or a complex procedure, I feel privileged to be part of this important work and to help my patients achieve their goals. It is this sense of purpose and the ability to make a tangible difference in people's lives that fuels my passion for dentistry.
What is the one thing most patients would say about you?
Over the years, I have had the privilege of building strong relationships with my patients, based on trust, respect, and genuine care. I take pride in being a good listener and communicator, and in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that puts my patients at ease. Many of them have commented on my empathetic and highly skilled approach to dental care, which combines technical excellence with a human touch. But what I value most is the connection I make with each person who walks through my door, and the joy that comes from helping them achieve optimal oral health and a smile they can be proud of. I believe that my upbeat and positive personality, which I like to think of as 'happy-go-lucky,' plays a big role in fostering these relationships and making dentistry a rewarding and fulfilling profession.

Why should you be my dentist?
Choosing the right healthcare provider is a personal and important decision, and one that should not be taken lightly. It's not just a matter of finding someone who has the right qualifications and expertise, but also someone who can connect with you on a deeper level and understand your unique needs and concerns. That's why I believe in building relationships with my patients that are based on trust, respect, and open communication. If you are looking for a dentist who not only has the technical skills and knowledge to provide top-notch care, but who also takes the time to listen, answer your questions, and make you feel comfortable and supported, I would be honored to be your healthcare partner. I invite you to explore my profile, read the reviews from my patients, and consider making an appointment if you think we might be a good fit. Together, we can work towards achieving your dental goals and ensuring your long-term oral health and wellbeing.
How do you deal with treatment failures?
As a doctor, I have come to realize that despite our best efforts, treatment outcomes can sometimes fall short of expectations. While it is never easy to face these kinds of setbacks, I believe that honesty and transparency are essential in these situations. That's why I make it a priority to explain the risks and benefits of any treatment plan to my patients, and to set realistic expectations from the outset. When things don't go as planned, I am always prepared to have open and honest discussions with my patients about what went wrong, what the options are moving forward, and how we can work together to find the best path forward. While failures can be difficult to accept, I see them as opportunities to learn and grow, both as a doctor and as a human being. By staying humble, open-minded, and committed to putting my patients' needs first, I believe that we can overcome even the most challenging obstacles and achieve the best possible outcomes.
